Morrissey has posted a note on True-to-you about his upcoming US tour and I love this part:
"Thanks to those of you who have bought tickets, and thanks to those even considering coming along. With so many US concerts this year your loyalty has already been over-stretched, so if you decide to pass, that's OK."
I love it because I am agonizing over whether I will be able to go to one of these shows and now it seems that even if I can't it will be ok cause Moz understands it and knows I love him anyway. I know he meant it for the many people who are in my case, but I like to believe he meant it just for me. A girl can dream.
If only he'd come to Texas it would be ok for me, but I just don't think I can find the money to go see him in Vegas or wherever. And as I am working I would only be able to go to a show on a Saturday. This is really bringing me down, so thanks a lot Moz for thinking of those of us who would love to come see you but cannot. You're a sweetie.
I've just read that Twin Peaks is at least going to be released on DVD. I've been waiting for it for so long!! A friend of my aunt's lend me the VHS some time ago and I just became completely addicted to this series. It's only two seasons long and my parents and I watched the whole of it in about a week... Since then I've been hoping they'd release the DVD and at last it's been announced. It should be out in July... I just can't wait!

Ca fait des siècles que je n'ai pas posté ici... Depuis que je n'avais plus de connexion internet pour moi en fait (mon frère ne me laissait jamais le temps de trainer sur LJ comme j'en ai l'habitude). Mais maintenant que je suis dans mon studio je vais pouvoir emmerder le monde à nouveau, muahahaha.
J'était à Rock en Seine le week-end dernier (25 et 26 août) et j'ai écrit un compte-rendu de la première journée pour le webzine Sensationrock (ils recherchent des chroniqueurs et veulent un exemple d'article pour juger les recrues potentielles). Je ne sais pas si ce que j'ai fait leur plaira ou pas (*croise les doigts*) mais enfin c'est écris maintenant donc autant que je le mette ici, au cas où ça intéresserait quelqu'un. N'hésitez pas à me dire si c'est nul lol
The full Morrissey UK tour dates have at last been announced by the NME!! And he's coming to Reading!! I can't believe it, this is the best news EVER! The tickets go on sale on January 20 at 9am, I hope I'll be able to grab some... I'll obviously go to Reading, and maybe to Oxford and to one or more of the London dates, depending on the cost of a ticket. I'm SO excited I don't care anymore about the essays I have to do for next week, I'm going to see Moz live!! Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!!!! (There are a lot of exclamation marks in this entry... But who cares?)
Well, I don't really know why I am writing here as no one will read me!! If by any chance someone does, I'm French so I apologize in advance for all the mistakes I'll probably make when writing in English. I'm also a complete newbie with this livejournal thing so I'll probably ask very stupid questions before I understand how it all works !
